- The Supreme Court is nearing a date to decide on the constitutionality of banning sales of video games to minors.
- L.A. Noire is unleashed to fairly good reviews, though not as amazing as Red Dead Redemption did last year (getting a copy from bestbuy for $60 with a $20 gift card and $10 of gamer's reward zone points, so a review will likely come out in a week or two).
- Dragon Age III is announced with an add looking for jobs.
- Rachet and Clank: All for One announces that there are retailer specific DLC for this game. Yay!(sarcasm).
- Infamous 2 announces its retailer exclusive DLC, though if history repeats itself it may come out at a later date.
A question for any readers out there: What is your preferred strategy for MAG, and what load out do you use to level up?
I think it's nuts that any part of the government even thinks they have the right to restrict what people should be allowed to watch or play. Personally, I would get rid of the rating system too, for movies as well as games. If parents want to stop THEIR kids from going to see these movies and playing these games, fine. But I see no convincing reason why they have the right to restrict the actions of other kids.
ReplyDeleteHowever, being 19, these rules are no longer relevant to me anyways, so...
eh i dont think of the rating system as a restrictive means, but as a means of informing. as with say a sports game rated E you know without even looking that this game would be appropriate for all ages, where as if someone saw something rated m they would think of it much to much for a young child
